Château Castelrey is a gem of a property in the south-west of France. The Norwegian couple and hosts, Siv and Arne-Richard, bought the property in 2019 and they have renovated the castle to its former glory. Castelrey is located approximately midway between the cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, in a typical French village, Pont du Casse, with its about 4000 inhabitants. The village is surrounded by lush hills and beautiful nature, and here is summer and spring temperatures almost all year around.
If you plan to make a trip to Castelrey by plane, we recommend that you fly either to Toulouse or to Bordeaux which is respectively 1 and 1.5 hours drive from us. We offer Bed & Breakfast for shorter or longer periods of time but we do provide all other meals as well if wanted. A typical stay at Château Castelrey runs from Thursday to Monday (long weekend) or from Wednesday to Wednesday. The castle has eight rooms/suits and we can accomodate further ten guests in the two guest houses on the property.
