The Gatekeeper's House

When larger groups come visiting, some of the guests will be accomodated in the castle and others in one of the two small houses on the property. The whole group eats breakfast together at the castle. Those who live in The Gatekeeper's House then of course have access to the castle's common area and outdoor areas with its facilities, which include the swimming pool.

We also rent out the Gatekeeper's House as a separate unit to guests not being part of a group that lives in the castle. You then have to be aware that one does not have access to any of the castle's facilities either inside or outside, including the swimming pool. We are of course more than helpful with important information and are happy to assist regarding renting bicycles, kayaks, etc. or other kind of support you would need during your stay. In The Gatekeeper's House, self-catering applies, which means that you are responsible for purchasing and preparing your own food. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need of equipment.
In The Gatekeeper's House  you have everything you need to enjoy your holidays. It is a great starting point for making day trips around the local area and the region with a short distance to some of the best things France has to offer in terms of nature and culture. The house has two double bedrooms with beds for five people. There is a seating area in the large open plan solution for the living room, dining room and kitchen. Here is a bathroom with bath and shower, a small entrance hall and a toilet. In the kitchen there is a washing machine so you can wash your clothes if wanted. The Gatekeeper's House has its own, furnished and screened outdoor area where you can enjoy meals and delicious drinks throughout the evening.
